There are many names for sugar.  You may be eating way more sugar than you think.  It is so, so important to read labels. Check out these names for simple sugars, which spike your blood sugar and then drop it down low, so that you crave more sweets.

Diana’s going to be 60 in the summer Part II

Diana’s going to be 60 in the summer – part 2 —- here’s my other son, he’s 19, and this photo was taken a few weeks ago.

I just can’t tell you how blessed I feel to be here, and be vibrantly healthy and able to enjoy my time with family and friends.  Life is meant to be enjoyed, and I hope you are taking the time to really enjoy your family and friends.

Our attitudes and thoughts have so much to do with how we live our lives. Do you notice how wonderful it is to be around people who are full of LIFE, ENERGY and JOY?  Both my sons are so vibrantly alive and caring and I love being around them.

Mentally stimulating activities strengthen brain cells and the connections between them, and may even create new nerve cells.

Diana’s going to be 60 in the summer

I’m doing a LOT of thinking about brain health these days.  I’m going to be 60 in a few weeks, and I feel about 40!

Here’s a photo of me and my son (visiting from the Cayman Islands) just this past week.  He’s 29 – which is about the age of many of you who are reading my blog!  Look at this beautiful beach, just a couple of blocks from my home.

Most people think I’m in my 40s. I’m so very fortunate to be able to enjoy the wonderful mental alertness, mental clarity, love for life, and joy for living that I do.

It does take work – it just doesn’t “happen” to us.  And that is my mission in life, to help coach others to be able to feel young and look young….. with particular emphasis on nutrition and reducing/eliminating cravings!
