Journey to Joy

Stress and particularly family stress, contribute to over-eating, snacking, cravings for junk food and fast food.
My recommendation to you to reduce stress and balance your emotional live is  to be sure and check out my friend Aurelia’s Journey to Joy – even the name of her ebook makes me feel happy!

Be sure and let me know if you find help and insights for whatever you are currently going through, with Aurelia’s wonderful support, okay?

Hurricane Dean heading to Cayman

OK – I know my blog is about Cravings, but I’m stressed and a little emotional.

I’ve written a lot about emotional eating and cravings, and this could definitely come under that topic, right?  Also – under Attitude and Thoughts.

So, I am not reaching for the junk food, or sugary foods to stuff my emotions down… I’m feeling the feelings, and dealing with it right now.

Right now my son is in the Grand Cayman Islands and Hurricane is around Jamaica and will be hitting the area where he is in the next few hours, so I am up and thinking about him.  Family is very important to me, and also friends, and I feel a lot of thoughts and prayers going out to all the people in the path of Hurricane Dean.

Here are photos of my son, taken recently:

Contest for Meal Planning Made Easy

Oh, if you read my earlier post encouraging you to Stop Feeding Your Family Junk, and read about Christine, who is my friend and the Menu Mom, you will know that I recommend her healthy recipes, and menu planning options.  You can make fast food and junk food a thing of the past.

We all need support, and moms in the kitchen need lots of support (at least that is my experience)!

So – the wonderful news is – my friend Nell is running a contest.  You can win a free year’s subscription worth $239.64 if you enter the contest that is running until September 15th.

Details are here:   Meal Planning Made Easy Contest

Simplify your life!  Let Christine do the hard work for you!
