What’s in a Name? I love the name Diana

This is the What’s In A Name? Meme started

I was tagged by LaTara because she wants to know the meaning of my name.

First let me say, I’ve always loved my name  and I did spell it Dyana for a couple years when I was about 15.

Well here it is.
My name is: Diana
Diana is derived from either an Indo-European root meaning divine, or from the Latin diviana. Diana was the Roman goddess of the moon who eventually took on the huntress identity of the Greek goddess Artemis. Diana was a patron of virgins, forests, and hunters.
It means: not applicable
Origin: Indo-European or Latin

Mustard – why am I craving Mustard?

MUSTARD – WHY AM I CRAVING MUSTARD?

Rosemary asked me this question:

I understand that different cravings can be a sign of deficiencies in our bodies; i.e. chewing ice = iron deficiency. I am desperately trying to uncover any such message that might be associated with my recent, and very strong mustard cravings. I am finding nothing on the subject of mustard. Can you help? Thank you.

Rosemary — be sure to check out the details in the link I provide below.

Since mustard is such a great benefit for digestion, it is possible your body actually knows that. I hope my article helps you uncover the reasons for your strong craving for mustard.

Mustard has incredible properties.  I am particularly interested in the fact that mustard helps with digestion, and can also speed up metabolism.  This is wonderful news for anyone who is looking for natural ways to help with weight loss.  Of course, it is important to use the mustard as close to nature as possible, so look for healthy mustard in your health food store.

Stevia – A Sweet Herb, Many use to replace Sugar

Do you have sugar cravings?  Stevia is sweet herbal nutrition with virtually zero calories.

I was just talking about how much sugar there is in sodas, and even in sport drinks.

My solution to anything that needs a sweet taste, is to use the wonderful Stevia.  This comes from the Stevia plant.  I have tasted the leaves of the plant – it tastes so sweet!

Now, many companies process the stevia from the plant. If you find it in a white powder form, please don’t use it. It is too processed.

Be sure and see if you can find one in your health food store that is not processed with alcohol, and is in liquid form. Stevia keeps an even blood sugar level – which is very, very important when we are talking about cravings for sweets.

One of the biggest reasons people crave sweets is when their blood sugar is low.

I just use a squirt of my liquid stevia in wonderful pure water, along with some fresh lemon, and I have an amazing, virtually zero calorie, summer drink for me and my family.  Very healthy and refreshing

If you want to know more about Stevia, you can learn more at my Diana’s Healthy Lifestyles website.  Subscribe to my nutrition-packed newsletter there, too!
