Gluten and Wheat Intolerence Audio Interview

Gluten and Wheat Sensitivity is a growing concern. You may also hear of this as a food allergy or intolerence.

Sometimes we also intensely crave the food item that we are allergic to.
If you are wheat sensitive that is one thing, and means you just need to eliminate wheat from your diet, and you will notice feeling better. If it is more serious, you will have to eliminate all forms of gluten from your diet.
Gluten is a type of protein found in wheat, rye, triticale and barley. It is the gluten that sticks ingredients together in breads and baked goods. The problem is that (just like the word sounds) — it is like glue in your stomach and intestines. It can often build up on the walls of your colon and you cannot absorb nutrients.
Gluten can be hidden in additives, seasonings and other ingredients.
My friend Aura had severe gluten intolerence, and did not now why she had such deep fatigue, among other symptoms.
Listen here and you will be able to hear my interview with Aura on Wheat and Gluten.

  1. Great podcast Diana. I directed Jen to listen incase this is her problem and not Candida. She has told me before she would eat a ton of wheat! Anyways, great podcast…hope to hear another one soon!

  2. I’m a celiac….

    man do I feel 10x better when I don’t eat wheat/gluten…

it was tough to get used to, but now, it’s just like anything else!

    great information!

  3. Diana Walker says:

    Thanks, Heather, for your input.
I know, isn’t it amazing how much just cutting out all wheat (for some people) — or going the extra step — and cutting out all gluten, makes in how vibrant, happy, healthy, and alive you feel?
