Hayden, age 5, talks about Hallowe’en, sugar and fiber

My friend Angela Wills of Internet Profit Planning  told me that her 5-year-old son, Hayden, is saying he doesn’t plan to go out for Hallowe’en.  Here’s what Angela wrote:

I can’t believe this but he’s been sticking to this story for about a week and a half now.My 5 year old son, Hayden, is saying he doesn’t want to go out for Halloween because he wants to eat healthy food and doesn’t want to go out and get all that candy.

I swear, I don’t think I put this idea into his head. I’m no health nut , though I do stress the importance of eating fruits and vegetables and try to lead by example (though I don’t always do a great job).

It’s the funniest thing though because he’s so serious… and I may just have a Halloween absentee this year! I don’t think I should make him go get candy if he doesn’t want to? 
 

 Guess what?  I had the wonderful opportunity to interview Hayden.  I hope you enjoy my interview with him, as much as I enjoyed talking with him.  What a joy to hear someone as young as Hayden speak so clearly about sugar and candy and fiber and Hallowe’en.  I know you will be impressed!!
