What a great idea, to use avocado and chocolate together. Family members Goldie Denise and James Wilson have provided our family with this delicious recipe for desert many times over the last few years. Since we are mainly vegetarian, it works well as a delicious healthy dessert.
Ingredients for Healthy Chocolate Mousse Recipe
The following photos demonstrate James Wilson preparing the chocolate mousse (pudding) in his Vitamix. Peel and pit the Acocados.
Ingredients: 3 ripe Avocados, 8 Dates (organic), 1/4 cup Cocoa (organic), 1 teaspoon Vanilla, 10 drops liquid Stevia or 2 tablespoons Agave Nectar, 1/2 to 1 cup Water or Almond Milk
You can use a heavy-duty blender. You may want to include Sunrider liquid Stevia and Chocolate Vitashake in this recipe. Place into individual wine glasses or custard dishes, and place in refrigerator for 3 hours or more. Actually, we love it warm (from being blended so fast in the Vitamix) – and we don’t wait for it to cool off!
