Hurricane Dean heading to Cayman

August 20, 2007

OK - I know my blog is about Cravings, but I’m stressed and a little emotional.

I’ve written a lot about emotional eating and cravings, and this could definitely come under that topic, right?  Also - under Attitude and Thoughts.

So, I am not reaching for the junk food, or sugary foods to stuff my emotions down… I’m feeling the feelings, and dealing with it right now.

Right now my son is in the Grand Cayman Islands and Hurricane is around Jamaica and will be hitting the area where he is in the next few hours, so I am up and thinking about him.  Family is very important to me, and also friends, and I feel a lot of thoughts and prayers going out to all the people in the path of Hurricane Dean.

Here are photos of my son, taken recently:

    Hi Diana…

I saw on the news that the cayman islands were spared. So is everything ok with your son? Thank God for answered prayers!

Thanks for your comments and thoughts and prayers - Carrie & Jen - what a relief when I knew that Hurrican Dean was travelling south of Jamaica and Cayman Islands. I’ve talked with my son, and he is helping clean up some of the damage that was done, but it has not been traumatic or deadly as it could have been.
