Do You Love Reading Health Books?

Do You Love to Read?  Do You Love Learning About Nutrition and Healthy Lifestyles?

If you are like me, you love reading – and you are also very interested in healthy lifestyles, nutrition, and keeping current and on the leading-edge on these subjects.

I still have my first nutrition-related book – from over 30 years ago – “The Miracle of Fasting” with Dr. Paul Bragg   It is a signed, autographed copy!  (since I worked for him and studied under him in the 1970s)

I’m excited to tell you about an awesome new service available at Health Book Summaries

Two of my favorite health educators – Kevin Gianni and Mike Adams – have teamed up to provide this service.

This is a ground-breaking service where you can register and receive 2 to 3 free summaries monthly of the newest and best health information books.  The Health Book Summaries Service  takes all the important topics from books written by well-known health authors and breaks them down into a digestible 10 to 12 page summary.

This is the ultimate time-saver for you if you are interested in improving your health or if you are a health practitioner, personal trainer, or in the medical field.

All you have to do is visit the site, register (it’s completely free) and you’ll be taken to the summary archive where there are already 3 summaries that you can download immediately!

Go there now and register: Free Health Book Summaries

You’ll be glad you did!

Can A Raw Food Diet Help You Lose Weight? – Show #13

food - fruit n vegNo matter where you look – television, magazines, or even billboards – there are ads for weight loss companies and diet plans. With obesity being an epidemic, people are trying to lose weight in record numbers.

I’m pleased to continue my talk this week with Kevin Gianni of Renegade Health as we further discuss the benefits of eating a raw food diet and how it can help you to lose weight.

Kevin explains how a raw food diet improves your awareness about what you eat so you make much healthier choices. He also tells us about his friend who has lost 200 pounds (yes! his starting weight was 400 pounds!) in two years by changing his eating habits and following a raw food diet.

Kevin also answers listeners’ email questions, such as “What do you eat for breakfast on a raw food diet?”, “Can you still have the benefits of a raw food diet if you don’t follow it 100% ?” and “Is there any special equipment I need to follow a raw food diet?”

You don’t want to miss this show!

Vegetarian, Vegan, Raw Foodist: What Do These Labels Mean? – Show #12

Pomme jaune du jardinIn our quest for good health and longer living, we so often hear the terms vegetarian, vegan and even Raw Food Enthusiasts and Raw Foodists. But do you know what those labels mean and how they differ from one another?

I’m very pleased to be joined again by Kevin Gianni of  Renegade Health and he discusses these differences in Part 2 of our interview together. Very simply, each of these lifestyles puts you more in touch with nature, or gives you a heightened awareness of the world around you.

No matter which of these philosophies you subscribe to, all three will improve your overall health, increase your energy, and make you more aware of the toxins in our everyday world.
